Car Kem Products, Inc. was first established in 1949 as Mirror Glaze Distributors, Inc. and incorporated in 1953 as the sole U.S. East Coast distributor of Meguiar's Mirror Glaze automotive cleaner, polishes, and waxes.
Car Kem was first established with headquarters in Maryland and subsequently set up distribution throughout the Eastern United States during the 1950's and 1960's.
The company moved its corporate offices and established operations in Florida in 1969.
As Florida has grown, so too has the business. Car Kem operates out of its company-owned manufacturing warehouse and office facilities located in Sanford, Florida.
The company currently has five satellite warehouses strategically located throughout Florida to better serve our customers.
In 1985 Car Kem became the sole authorized distributor for Granitize products in the State of Florida.
